Fiesta Airways Reservation and Ticketing System
an unpublished and cancelled full stack web application using KendoUI, Groovy & Grails + PostgreSQL
The project was never mine. It was my friend’s. He gave me a chance to explore my developer side further. He invited me to the project to work on the front-end.
One day during his travel to Manila, his ticket got upgraded to business class, a privilege he got after meeting a family friend or something. While in the plane, he was chatting with a business man from Cebu. He is the owner of a small Air Charter business in Manila who was looking for a developer to develop a ticketing system.
Long story short, My friend got the project and the next thing I know is that I already was on an all expense paid Manila flight with him to present and allow the client to choose a prototype that I designed.
Two weeks after that, we’re back to Manila halfway done on the system.
After completing the development. I was told that the project was going to be cancelled. The charter business, accordingly was handed down to the son which unfortunately did not share the same ideas with the father. That includes the use of the newly built system.
It is what it is as highlighted in subtitle above. Nevertheless, It was still a project that I did.
